Before the event, every participant completes a registration form covering:
Teams are thoughtfully curated by the event committee for balanced representation across founders, investors, corporate leaders, government representatives, students, and ecosystem builders. Team assignments are revealed when you arrive, right before the Team Huddle and Strategy Session.

Participants arrive at Michigan Central and check in with event staff. Get your jersey, meet your captain, and discover which team you've been drafted to.
Each team gathers in its designated team zone to meet fellow teammates, review gameplay, and build camaraderie before taking the field. This experience is designed to encourage connection and collaboration before competition begins.

Not at all. The championship is built for connection first, competition second. All skill levels are welcome, and teams are drafted to balance experience across rosters. If you can run, laugh, and high five, you're qualified.
The championship features six co-ed teams of roughly twelve players each, 72 players total. You don't need to bring a team: complete a short registration form (role, industry, preferred position, experience level, and a fun fact), and the event committee curates rosters for balanced representation across founders, investors, corporate leaders, government representatives, students, and ecosystem builders. No single organization fields its own team, and assignments are revealed when you arrive on game day.
Your official event jersey is included with championship entry and waiting for you at check in. Pair it with athletic shorts or leggings and comfortable sneakers or turf shoes. For the fireside and networking, dress sharp-casual for an afternoon of meaningful conversation.
Yes. The championship includes industry meetups, community activations, food, beverages, and entertainment around the field all day, so there's plenty to experience between games even if you never touch the ball.
During the Ecosystem Ice Cream Social from 2:00 to 3:30 PM, you'll head to your selected industry zone, one of twelve covering everything from Technology, AI & Software to Climate, Sustainability & Clean Energy. Facilitated introductions and discussion prompts do the heavy lifting, so you leave with real connections, not just a stack of cards.
Yes, two ways. The Squad Pass covers the evening championship for five people at $89 per person early bird, $445 per pack. The Squad All Access Pass covers the full day for five people. Either way, your crew signs up in packs of five, stacks packs for larger groups, and gets spread across the curated rosters on game day since no single organization fields its own team.
Two options in the curated Founder Marketplace celebrating women-owned businesses, startups, and local entrepreneurs: a Standard Space at $199 with a 6 ft footprint where you bring your own table and setup materials, or a Premium Activation at $399 with a 10 ft by 10 ft space for a large advanced display or tent.
Early bird rates are available until July 14 at 11:59 AM. After that, the Early Afternoon and Evening passes move from $99 to $129, and the All Access Pass moves from $149 to $199.
The full day takes place at Michigan Central in Detroit's Corktown neighborhood, flowing from the early afternoon fireside and networking to the championship on the field right outside the station.
